You say they get paid handsome in Cash.
That isnt actually true. Raj is paid 800.000$ and the other executives (Scott, Shiels, Keller) is paid about 500.000$.
Scott have only sold 6.000 shares and the other sells is from board directors.. So the only insider i actually pays atention to is Raj.
If you include options, resticted shares and warrants he have well over 6 mio. shares ind Spectrum. And he is actually selling about 800.000. Do your %. This is about 12-13% of his total holdings. not so much.
Maybe he wants a new house, his grand children needs money. He is 70 years old. Of couse he should cash money in at give it to his family. Also there can be tax issues. When he gets the restricted shares over the next years, the tax will hit him from the amount between 0 and the share price. Så mabye he just need cash in his hands.
I will say, i dont like it. But i dont think it is a huge bad sign. People should think. Why would Ken Keller invest 100.000 money in Spectrum, move from another part of the country and have limitations on all his options in Spectrum (to at minimum 2013) if something was wrong???
If Spectrum is so significantly undervalued and so poised for growth like you guys have been pitching to investors why have insiders set 10b5-1 trading plan that automatically sells shares at the 1st opportunity the share price reaches $12.5 ??
If insiders believe in the value of the company why is there a need to sell at these supposedly deep discounted prices ?
The company's management does get paid handsome cash salary.
10b5-1 trading plan can be canceled or modified.
Please explain this small nugget of information to shareholders.
